A year ago, I was at breaking point. On my knees and facing the lowest chapter of my life, I stumbled upon a video message that described my entire existence word for word. Even my mother remarked how accurately it captured my journey. That moment changed everything. Instead of hiding behind a brave face, I chose to listen inward, embrace truth, and channel my energy into a purpose larger than myself. Quantum Drake is born from that rebirth—a full-send commitment into the wild freedom of the sea.
Tradesman, fixer, and explorer
Born in Romford, Essex, and based in London I currently manage technical services in London. Over the years, I have built businesses from scratch across the globe, from alpine ski resorts to coastlines, landing in new places with nothing more than a roof over my head. With hands-on expertise spanning electrics, multiple construction trades, and certified drone piloting, I bring a practical, problem-solving mindset to the demanding world of blue-water voyaging.
Creating connection with every mile
What excites me most about sailing solo is not merely the quiet solitude, but the good we can create across the world. At every port where we drop anchor, the mission is to organise charity events, connect young people with apprenticeships, support animal welfare, and share warmth with whoever crosses our path. I want every person following this odyssey to feel involved, find hope in their own struggles, and smile along the way.
